Planet Trekkers is our dedicated childcare facility, designed for young guests aged 4-12 years fully supervised and secure with ample recreational space for age-appropriate facilities and fun, culturally inclined indoor and outdoor activities.
The indoor air-conditioned Club House is equipped with an interactive work station area for arts and crafts, an Internet cave with monitored computer use, as well as Wii and Play Station consoles and games, a cushioned reading corner and an extensive library of DVD movies and board games. Outside awaits a playground area with swings, slides and climbing frames, mini basketball court and a fully supervised, 10m long Anak-Anak children’s swimming pool.
The activities include enriching pursuits that introduce youngsters to Bali’s culture and artistic heritage, such as kite making, dress-up, dance, music and Indonesian Bahasa language lessons. Children can also explore the resort by bicycle, learn to cook with a chef, and participate in morning yoga sessions. Conservational initiatives under the Green Sea Turtle theme help promote ecological awareness. These activities include fish feeding, recycled art classes and active involvement with a local Turtle Conservation and Education Centre, teaching children about the rare species that inhabit Indonesian seas and participating in the resort’s own Turtle Release Programme on Jimbaran Beach.
