At InterContinental® Bali Resort, our Chinese New Year celebrations will be held in Taman Gita Restaurant offers Yee Sang Prosperity New Year dinner featuring an array of dishes that are believed to bring health, wealth and happiness. The dinner will be entertained by a performance of the Chinese Lion Dance accompanied by the music of beating drums, clashing cymbals, and resounding gongs, this vibrant, exciting dance expresses joy and happiness. The lion is used to summon luck and good fortune; he is an auspicious animal and a symbol of protection. It is also believed that the noise from the drums, the face of the lion, and the way in which the lion dances scares away bad or evil spirits.
