Stayed for a week with family and friends. We were in the club continental wing and had a lovely time. The rooms were large and easily accommodated 2 queen beds and day bed. I do feel the ban on children in the cocktail hour in the lounge and ball games in the club pool is unecessary. Although there are other pools and places to enjoy a cocktail these club facilities could easily be shared with children. Poor behaviour could be stopped but we saw little evidence e it would be a problem. Anyway we had a great time and will happily return. I have been waiting to rate this hotel ever since we arrived back on March 16th. This was a one week stay that was part of our around the world trip and this stay turned out to be the highlight of our once in a lifetime trip.
We stayed in room 6321 which is part of the Club Intercontinental. This is something that I highly recommend. It includes pick up service from the airport. We were greeted by staff as soon as we exited the baggage claim. We were quickly escorted to an air conditioned van complete with cool towels, drinks, snacks, and free wifi. We even received a phone call from the concierge welcoming us to Bali and asking if their was anything that we needed upon our arrival. We were very impressed with the shuttle service both upon on our arrival and our departure.
We were greeted with flower leis and invited to sit in the club lounge as paperwork was prepared for our stay. Cold drinks were served and some light snacks. Everything for our stay was in order and our time to relax had just begun....
